Spiritual Life at St. Mary Manor
Mass is celebrated daily in our beautiful, historic chapel. Built in 1925 and solemnly blessed by Dennis Cardinal Dougherty, this magnificent structure is a replica of the Cardinal’s titular Church in Rome, the Church of Saints Nereus and Achilleus, which dates back to the fourth century. Visits to our chapel are encouraged at anytime for solace, contemplation, prayer and peace.
Pastoral Care is an integral part of the holistic services we offer our residents at St. Mary Manor. Residents unable to attend Mass are individually visited and ministered to by the Pastoral Care staff. A closed-circuit television system telecasts daily Mass to resident rooms, thus allowing those unable to attend an opportunity to participate. A variety of other religious services include recitation of the Rosary, prayer services and Anointing of the Sick.
